Holy Cow

Can you believe that it has been over a month since I blogged.  I am sorry.  Life just seems to be just one crazy roller coaster ride at the moment.

We went to Sydney and had a fantastic time.  The staff and the Park Hyatt were all simply amazing and were so eager to help in anyway possible.  We arrived at the hotel and was greeted at the door by the Manager and assistant manager.  Such lovely people.  On the way up to our room we were told that we would have a full butler service for the week that we were there.. OMG!!!!!  Not that we had any idea what we would do with one............ Lucy and Sarah were their names.  Such adorable ladies.  Sarah was fantastic as she took Emma on a tour of the room that all the stars stay in.  It is 1$16,000.00 per night and stars like Elton John, Pink, Lady Gaga etc all stay there. It was an amazing set up but I fail to see how it is possibly worth that much per night.

Our days were super busy.  Day one included our bridge climb!!!!!  Holy cow that was so high and you will never ever catch me doing it again.  I have never been more scared in my entire life.  Terrifying I tell you.  On the positive side - I am so glad that we did it all together as a family.

I don't even remember the view as I was concentrating so much on holding on.... I am sure those harness things wouldn't hold you if you slipped...............

We went to a German Restaurant one night and my word it was such a funny place.  The staff were so nice and they had guys walking around playing German music.  The food was ok, certainly nothing to rave about.....

Spent day two just looking around the city and shopping although Emma got too tired so we headed back to the resort after only short periods.  We decided to have dinner at the Hyatt's signature restaurant which I might add was fantabulous...... On the way out of the restaurant we ran into Benji Madden so Emma took the opportunity to go say hello and have a little chat.  What a beautiful young man.  He did not seem to mind that we had interrupted his dinner and was only too happy to pose for a photo and have a chat.  The thing that really made him gorgeous was the fact that he told Emma a couple of times how beautiful she looked and that he loved her choice of outfit.....

I know it is not a very good photo but my camera was in our room and only stuart had his iPhone on him. I wrote him a thank you note once I got back in the room just explaining to him Emmas situation and how much it meant to us all that he gave her those compliments.  I know it may only be small but to Emma it meant the world.  She actually felt great about herself.  Not ever did I think that Benji would take any real notice of this little note but wow was I wrong.  He went back to his room and spoke to Joel who then phoned Nicole Ritchie and then then next morning we had a small delivery LOL.... small was probably a slight understatement

Chocolates, balloons, flowers and a soft cuddly teddy from Benji & Joel Madden. Beautiful angels they are.

OMG Emma was beside herself with excitement when she received the photo from Nicole

Emma and her adorable pressies.  She has named the teddy "Madden"

This will do for tonights post.  Tomorrow night I will show you some of the photos from the zoo and photos of the amazing views from our room.  Simply magic.

God Bless

Leanne xxx
