Published and a new car

Hi guys, just a quickie to show my latest layout, as seen in this months Scrapbook Creations. Love how this one turned out.

Secondly I wanted to show my new car.  Toyota Aurion Touring.  Fantastic to drive and so quiet on the road.  I think I am going to enjoy this.

Emma is heading to Brisbane with daddy tomorrow for her next lot of chemo.  In the 18 months of her chemo I have never missed one.  Stuart suggested that I have a break and he would do it this time.  It is 3 nights up at the hospital.  Don't know if I  am going to like this idea :-|

Ok gotta go and get warmed up a little.  Cannot believe the cold snap we are having here on the Gold Coast.  Today it only reached a max of 16C (60.8F) brrrr. Am looking forward to moving into our new home with the nice big wood heater... mmmm toasty :-)

Good night
God Bless

New House and Hospital

We got the house :-)

it is officially ours on the 4th August 2012.

5 bedroom home on 1 1/4 acres in Worongary.  Cannot wait to get into it now

Our excitement was marred by the fact that Emma has had to spend the last week and a half in hospital with febrile neutropenia.  She is fine now but it is so hard when they are not well and there is nothing you can do to make them happy.  This will be a regular occurrence while she is on this strong chemo.  It is just knocking her body around so much. She got out on Wednesday.  Her bloods were great this morning so we headed off to the circus this afternoon.  She had a fantastic time but Jacob (15yrs) grumbled the whole time.... We are off to the Mudgeeraba Show tomorrow which is something we do every year.

My time with Kaisercraft has come to an end which is sad but not a bad thing as right at this very moment I do not have the time.

Ok here are my last projects for the 2011/12 Kaisercraft Design Team

Anyway not a lot else to chat about.  Emma is having chemotherapy on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and Stuart is taking her up to give me a break.  It all the 18 months of Emma's Chemotherapy I have not missed one so I don't know really how I feel about missing this.  It will be nice to have a little rest though.

Hope this finds you all happy and healthy
God Bless

Oh boy.........

It looks as though we are moving home.......  Yep Stuart and I put in an offer on a new home and it looks as though it is going to go through.  I won't go into any details yet but I can tell you that is on acreage.  We are going to have a huge veggie garden and fruit trees and also chickens for fresh eggs.  It is so nice and I am just busting to share it with you all.  As soon as it is all legit then I will post picces of our new home :-)

Layouts, Papercraft Convention & Hospital visits

It has been a busy week or two for the Love Family

I have just completed my last projects for the Kaisercraft DT.  I cannot believe how fast the past twelve months have flown.  It only seems like last week that a few large boxes turned up on my doorstep filled to the brim with Kaisercraft goodies.  I have had an amazing year and would like to thank Kaisercraft for the opportunity - I had a blast........ I will post my layouts once they are up on Kaisercraft web page :-)

Last week Stuart, Emma and I were up in Brisbane for Em's chemotherapy.  We weren't sure it was going to happen as her bloods have not been all that high lately.  They were high enough in the end and chemo went ahead.  Two down out of a cycle of 6.  This weekend marked two years since Emma was found to have a tumour.  Two long hard years, 9 surgeries, 3 different cycles of chemotherapy and 30 radiation treatments and we are still no closer to a cure for her.  Sometimes I just want to scream and pull my hair out but I know deep down that it is just a waste of my energy and it will accomplish absolutely nothing.  I will just stay strong and soldier on :-)

The yearly scrapbooking and papercraft convention was on over the weekend of Emma's chemo so while we were up there I ducked in on Saturday for a look.  Holy cow remind me never to go again on a Saturday as it was just way too busy and I only ended up getting frustrated and left early preferring to sit with Emma and Stuart at the hospital..........

Yesterday Emma was not feeling 100% and her temp was hovering around the 38 degree mark.  Anything over 38 and she needs to be taken to the hospital.  Well wouldn't you know it, it reached 38.7 so off we went to the Gold Coast Hospital where we are currently guests :-)  We are here until Friday as she needs to be on antibiotics for 48 hours.

Mum flies home tomorrow.  It has been so nice having her up here.  I just wish she didn't live so far away. I think that she is going to come back up in about two months.

Well I think that pretty much sums up the week we have had.  Before I go I have a few layouts to share with you

Enjoy :-)

Hope this finds you all happy and healthy.  I will be drawing the 2nd lucky winner of the Kaisercraft stamps when I get home on Friday.  There is still time to enter, so easy too.  Just go and leave a comment on the post regarding the stamps and you are in the draw.  See told you it was going to be easy :-)
