Only 3 more sleeps

Until my little Princess has her surgery to remove the tumour in her face.  Poor little baby. As you can see from the photo below the tumour has grown a bit.  It won't be long and she will have a nice even looking face again.
She is being a bit of a goofball in this photo..... typical Emma.

I have so much to do between now and when we leave Wednesday morning.  Emma and I are going to make an adventure of it and go up to Brisbane on the train.  She has an early appointment with the psychologist and Stuart has things to do in the office so he will drive up later in the afternoon.  I am so not looking forward to Thursday, I am petrified of her going into surgery and having to experience all that pain again.  If I could take the tumour for her then I would.  It totally breaks your heart seeing your child in so much pain knowing that there is very little you can do for them.  We are praying so hard that the surgeon will get it all as if he doesn't then it will definately grow back and it also means that Emma will need chemotherapy.  If you pray then please pray for total healing for Emma.

My mother is coming up for three weeks on the 24th September.  I am hoping that we will be out of hospital by then.  I don't like our chances but one can only hope.  I know that she wanted to be here earlier but there is no point as there would be nothing for her to do.  By coming that little bit later she will actually be able to lend me a hand.

I don't know if I will get a chance to post anymore before the surgery but I am taking my computer with me so if I get a chance then I will update here.

Hope this finds you all happy and healthy.  Don't forget to kiss your children good night and tell them how much you love them.

Hi Leanne,

I just wanted to check in and let you know I am thinking of you as deal with the challenges of the next few weeks. Especially thinking of Emma. It is so much for a little one to deal with but kids are strong and resiliant-and so are mummies:) Don't forget to take care of you as well.
