Friday 21 August at 9am will be declared ‘Autism Hour’, with a goal to reach as many people as possible to make them aware of autism spectrum disorders and their prevalence.
1 in 160* Australians have an autism spectrum disorder, for which as yet there is no cure.

Autism Hour is an initiative of the Asia Pacific Autism Conference (APAC 09) where over 1500 people will be gathered representing the number of people diagnosed each year in Australia with an autism spectrum disorder.
